We are almost finished with our ROV. Today Coleman and Hannah learned how to make our ROV equally buoyant with ms. S and then continued to work on the frame of the ROV. We added a scoop to be able to lift up the coral and the octopuses. Zen finished up with the motors today, all she needed to do was to waterproof them. Nicole continued to finish up with the control box so we are able to control our ROV. By next class we should be finished with our ROV.

3 days till we have to finish our ROV, overall today was a very productive day for our team. Coleman and Hannah took the ROV out to the pool for the first time, before the pool though they had to drill holes in the top of the ROV for air to be able to escape and they also had to cut pipe to be able to make a bar at the bottom of the frame to make sure everything was stable. When they got out to the pool everything worked pretty well but they srill have to figure out where to put the tools on the machine. Zen continued to work on the motors to make sure they are all waterproof. Lastly, Nicole continued to work on the control box to make sure the wires are put in the right place.

Coleman and Hannah took the role of building the frame. Coleman watched videos about framework and how to build a secure structure.

Today was the interview with Ms.S. Before the interview we went over the parts of the ROV to make sure we knew 100% what each part did. After the interview our team headed out to the pool to practice controlling the ROV and figuring out which control did what.
