I worked with Coleman on measuring and weighing the props. We weighed the objects using a scale and weighed them in grams rather than pounds. when we measured the objects we used centimeters rather than inches. We did this because we wanted to know what our ROV would have do life during the challenges.

I reviewed the parts of the ROV before meeting with Ms.S. After the meeting the team and I went out to the kiddy pool to test out the ROV. After the pool we went back into the classroom and I updated the groups daily log.

I updated the blog with the latest group log. After that I watched all the training videos that I need for building the frame.

Coleman and I started building tester frames to see which one we want to build for our ROV. We didn't find one yet but we will continue to build next class.

Coleman and I worked on the frame of the ROV all class. First we built the moel frame to make sure it was the shape we wanted, then drew the frame at different view points to show the complete shape of it. After that we meaured the PVC and started our shopping list with ms. S. Lastly, we cut the PVC we measured and built the actual frame for our ROV.

Today Coleman and I tested out the Rov, but before that we had to make some changes. we drilled holes at the highest points to let air escape when put in the water, than we added a pipe across the whole bottom of the ROV to make sure it was strong enough to hold the top motor. Then we took it to the pool, we added the pool noodles at the end to make sure it stays buoyant and tested it out in the water. Overall it worked pretty well. we still need to figure out where to put the claws and other tools.

Today Coleman and I were finishing up the ROV. Ms.S taught us how to find the equal buoyancy of our robot and all the equations for that. After she taught us that we went back to add a scoop onto the ROV so it will be able to scoop up the coral and the octopuses.
